The Fly
*comes out of lurking*
Seemingly Unnoticed
another morning
different day
some old shit
feeling so helpless
so lost
trying to make life
worth living
but she cant seem to make it last
she cant find something to live for
and so she lights up another cigarette
consoling herself, that things will be okay.
its just another morning of coffee and cigarettes
just another morning, hoping to waste away
she keeps moving forward, she treads on
going unnoticed, so it seems
the loneliness has eaten her away
she's already empty
she's nothing special
just the average girl
with average problems
that have gone so much deeper
with no one to turn to
no one to trust
all of her feelings
are bottled up.
and so she lights up another cigarette
consoling herself, that things will be okay.
its just another morning of coffee and cigarettes
just another morning, hoping to waste away
she has no where to go,
no where to run.
she's been running all her life.
and now shes at a dead end
she can't continue on.
with no one there to support her
no one to tell her everything will be okay
she walks away,
she gives up.
wasting away into the depths of the unknown
seemingly unnoticed.
and so she lights up another cigarette
consoling herself, that things will be okay.
its just another morning of coffee and cigarettes
just another morning, hoping to waste away
Seemingly Unnoticed
