What do you all think are the greatest instrumentals in rock history? I'll define instrumental as at least a one minute section of it's host song.
Off the top of my head, I'll go with "Light My Fire" by the Doors. That instrumental section has got to be the best piece of organ/keyboard playing in rock history. The bass line is real tight during that section, also. Plus, I like the Doors alot better when Jim Morrison is held in check. He doesn't dominate this song at all.
