130bpm.com is a pretty good blog i've been checking in on lately, when i've had my fill of the snarkiness on pitchfork. they've got your standard reviews and frequent live reviews. sometimes they review the packaging of a release (i think this is great), and they have regular discussions about big and historical aritists. they've done Led Zep, Dylan, Prince, and just weighed in on U2.
