Well you beautiful people of Raleigh.....If you asked me during the Toronto shows if I was planning to go to more this leg....I would have easily said no.

Now I'm flying instead of driving...
Got GAs at Will Call and giving up my ebay tix...
Booked a hotel and I'm ready to party.

I've printed out a few 360 pictures from Toronto. If you see me and you want one, just ask.

Now....do I bring the point and shoot I used in Toronto, or do I try my new Canon G10?

See you all soon.

I want to find you so bad!! I saw your pix and they were SO good! And I found out by looking at your website that you were at my first U2 concert. Vertigo, Pittsburgh 05

I'm in GA so if I find you can I get a pic with you?!

25 hours til I'm flyin high!!

Hey people, I just picked up tickets today for Saturday's show, and I'm concerned about parking? I just can't figure it out. I had a friend go to Charlottesville tonight ,and they had to pay $20 bucks for parking - i just shelled out my last bit of money for these tickets and gotta pay gas for my 400 mile trip - any free parking? I am just confused all around parking wise. Fedex was HELL but easy to find and free.

We hear you, Tampa is $25, and if it makes you feel better, Boston was like $45, Chicago was $50 and LA will be $68 (for Parking, F'n capitalists, where's the socialism we voted for)-- so $20 is easy change if you're trying to follow the band, fortunately you're down south where the livin' is easy!

I'm sure you can find places to park for free but it depends on how far you want to walk. The NC state fairgrounds are adjacent to the football stadium and parking but I don't know how much of that will be used for U2 parking.

If you google maps Carter-Finley the fairgrounds are to the southeast of the stadium.

Thanks, I didn't know you could park at the Fairgrounds....leaving Saturday early afternoon, have class in the AM, but it's only a 3.5 h drive for us.

For the 2006 season, a new north end zone grandstand has been added. 5,730 new chairback, bench and handicap-accessible seating, with another 1,630 permanent bleacher seats built underneath the video scoreboard make Carter-Finley a bowl and give it a capacity of 60,000 spectators.

so if there is only 50-55,000 with field holding 5,000 or so it will be an easy crowd I hope..... Was up with Not playing Unkown Caller any one else missing that one.... Looks like set list is getting shorter.....

I would try and find parking outside the main stadium/arena parking area. The mad rush to leave the concert will leave the main lot in gridlock for hours. Football games are like that and I think there will be more people for this concert. There is a business park road near the Wendy's around the intersection of Trinity and Edwards Mill. That's always a good place to park for free during football games. A bit of walk though, but not too bad. Walking is better than idleing in your car forever.

So no basic digital cameras? i always think this when I go to shows, and then everyone has them, and I never get pictures at concerts.

omg you guys. seriously. omg..... TOMORROW!!

so if anyone is looking for something to do tonight there is the party at Trali at 8:30 and then another at TirNaNog downtown at 10. I'll be hitting up both. looks for the redhead in a long stripey sweater!!! or msg me on aim: karlaanne77 ....

32 HOURS!!!!!!!! :applaud::applaud::applaud::applaud:

I'm torn between parking at the stadium lot vs. the fairgrounds. I don't mind the walk - but is it OK to park at fairgrounds? I plan to get there around 3 to get in the GA line.

What are other GA ticket holders planning for parking and arrival times?

Saw the G10 mention and had to respond-TAKE it. I get mine in at concerts all the time and if you adust the settings properly, you will get amazing photos! :sexywink:

So I will basically be arriving in Raleigh from Georgia (I'm driving all night) at the crack of dawn. Any ideas on where I should park and where I need to go to get in line for GA?

Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been repeated a million times but we have to leave shortly and I can't find it...where exactly are we meeting for dinner tonight & when? Need to program this into my GPS!

Can't wait!! I need to read up on some GA line suggestions as for what to bring, etc. Bringing my camera for sure. At least the temps will be nice so no roasting in the sun. :)

Folding chair or a beach chair is a lifesaver. Nothing like sitting for hours on a concrete ground.

Plenty of food and water. Sanitizing wipes. Cottonelle wet wipes (I assume you're a girl from your user ID) for when the portapotty runs out of toilet paper.

YOUR TICKET.

See you guys in line...Trying to get there by 1pm or so (Driving from Greensville, SC)
