Live or die
it all seems the same
as the world becomes smaller
the magnitude of masses
is as sense is overwhelmed
mankind can’t cope anymore.

Live or die
the child breathes or expires
it makes no difference
it happens so many times
as common as birth
as synonymous as death
each day it happens
yet the world looks away.

Live or die
some worry they can’t buy their time
yet it’s not theirs to choose
they put all their treasures
in little boxes
tucked away into their soul
leaving no room
to negotiate.

Cruel it is
sad becomes the spirit of mankind
as more I have the more I want
and no one stands in the way
to the ultimate I want it all.
Compassion becomes complacent
or non-existent in a needy world.

Live or die
unless lightning shows its strength
an untimely consequence
will write a gruesome tale
one in which storybooks
are stored away
in a forbidden library of time.

I've been too ignorant, and your being too trivial, we need to wait and see what happens unfortunately..........

I didn't mean to sound trivial.. but I can see how it has come across as such. I was actually figuring this out as I went along....


But my ego is not really that important, and I admit that I shouldn't have written it like that, even though I didn't understand the implications.
