... wow.

Few songs mean as much to me as New Dawn Fades. It's an ASOH or an OTH.

Plus it's great fun to play on guitar.

Every damn time I try to like it. I TRY Axver, because RARELY do we disagree this much about a song. But I just...can't.

So did you listen to The Crossing?

Downloaded but not listened.

Cranking some Russian Circles right now since I'm feeling a bit bleh and tired, and trying to focus on uni to little avail.

This is one of those nights where I'm really tired, but can't pry myself away from music.

Get on the tram, crank up some music, and just ride?

Shame about the public aspect of public transport.

Plus I wouldn't mind just getting out of Melbourne. Not particularly in the mood to be in the city. I'd be more content out in the Yarra Valley at the very least.

Wish I knew what to suggest. I don't know the area though, so I can't really think of anything right now.

Think I'll get some sleep actually.

No Pride, Bonnie. No Pride!

I'm just having dinner now, hoping it gives me enough energy to do some work. So much for a day of solid work. Ah well.

Have a good night!

I'm just stoked that U2 finally played ... Your Blue Room. Never thought it would see the day.

U2.com says today's show had the tour debut of Sunday Bloody Sunday. :lmao:

Some people have mentioned the crowd was pretty dead ...

But it sounds fucking gorgeous to me.

Yeah, the crowd doesn't seem to know what hit them. The casual fans must've been constantly scratching their head.

I'm watching a video of it now (If I had broadband I would've finished watching already ) and it has a bit of a shout out to you and Interference.

It sounds terrificly mouthwatering.

Haha, I saw that. Gave the filmer a shout-out in return on U2gigs, since I re-posted the video there. Figured it needs to be seen by as many people as possible.

Some parts of the song do sound a bit rough (though the bit Bono seems to adlib is actually quite cool if you ask me), but if they keep playing it, it has so much obvious potential. Hope it becomes a tour centrepiece like Miss Sarajevo did last time.

(818): Lady GaGa only went backwards in convincing me she's not a man at the VMAs

(702): Guy at red light looking at porn. I'm waiting for him to look over at me so I can shake my head and he can feel bad

(215): he just kept going up to random asian girls and yelling at them for breaking up the beatles

(603): My roommate just did the walk of shame in last nights corset back to our room to find her dad there. THATS why i go to school out of state.

(229): It was as awful as eating cow testicles on fear factor and not winning and realizing you ate balls for nothing
:lmao:
god I'm so immature.

Danny, you really, REALLY need to listen to some albums to smash the Limp Bizkit/Nelly/Eiffel 65 tosh out of that list.

But there is a lot of good stuff on it. And it's pretty old i.e. from that top 100 thing, right?

Oh I know. Some of the crap in the bottom 15 there is absolute garbage. (Though I'd still probably keep Nellyville on the list :reject:)

Yeah from that thing. I've listened to a fair few more albums since then, it would look a lot better.

Yes, yes you are.

I reckon Bono's falsetto on the "coming around" vocal bit (after the first and second verses) was superb.
