Okay, first of all I think it's possible. You can get his attention. I like the ideas mentioned here for signs. You have to get to the GA line early so you can be along the rail if you don't get in the elipse. By early I mean dawn or earlier...You can also meet the band before soundcheck. If you want it bad enough you can find a way. Let others know your plan. Fans can be really helpful when inspired. Get Bono's attention if he stops for autographs and tell him your story.
