what is the best way to purchase tickets? online? phone? line up?..im a first time buyer...so any advice...?? waiting for them to go on sale in vancouver.

The best way is the way that gets you the tickets you want.... There is no one best way ‘cause once one way becomes the best, everybody uses it and it no longer works as well.....

Lineups tend not to be great. Most outlets really discourage people lining up. One of the ways to do this is give out wrist bands. So you could stand in line all night and then get number 47 and move to the back of the line...

The internet is fast and comfortable but lots of competition. If you get in at 10:00:00, your chances are very high. If you get in at 10:00:04, for a show like MSG there are now 600 people ahead of you.

If you can get a live operator on the phone right at 10, this is usually very good. However, getting an operator right at 10 is not as easy as it sounds. The downside of being on hold at 10 is you really have no idea if your call will be answered in 30 seconds or 30 minutes.

So no one fits all answers. Find a friend and try 2 or more approaches. Good luck.
