no longer shine for me
the music of your laugh
still haunts the vacancy in my heart
and i long to find something
that is so beautiful it hurts
I found it once
among the ruins...
shining like gold in my hands
i held it tightly,
too tightly...
and now the light it brought me
has left only a shadow on my heart.
be free
because I never will be
find love
because it's not meant for me
be happy...
so that I can smile for you,
because
I cannot find a reason
to smile for me...
let those atlantic ocean eyes shine,
for somebody good enough to deserve it
