hey Axver, did you see the Cricket show yesterday?
They had a story on Brad Hodge who is now playing Test cricket for Australia....he had his Ipod in the Victorian dressingroom and had to make a point that his favorite song is The Unforgettable Fire....above that selection he had WTSHNN and other U2 songs.

Oooh, that's awesome! I didn't see it yesterday. to him.

Oh yeah...how sweet it is that U2 is coming to Brisbane!!!!!!1111!!!!!    :) :)

I'm bloody thrilled! This is going to be so awesome, I can't wait to see this! Wonderfully cheap prices too compared to what I expected!

Indeed. Chris Martin takes the cake when it comes to that sort of thing.

You know what I loved about the first leg? The lack of WOWY.

Yeah. :sigh:

When WOWY did make an appearance, it was actually rare and exciting!

I actually really like it, too, but not live.

i always forget how rockin' it gets live with the crowd singing the chorus... amazing.. how can you NOT like it?

what don't you like about it?

I only like the extra special long version live - but the band seems content to just play the standard version night after night:|

WOWY should be rotated with something, but not played every night

or atleast played in a different spot

I love it. Always. Though the best versions were Lovetown by far(there, I praised Lovetown. be happy, Axver). And I'd rather hear Mofo

I think it's dull live. I love the slow build of it on the album, but it loses some of the subtleness of the beginning in a live setting.

I do, however, enjoy the final climax of the song, even when it's not the "shine like stars" bit.

I think WOWY's fine after the acoustic stuff. Not after The Fly though.
