Here's the thing, though... U2 would have needed to play the 'fake' album at all those advance listening parties to pull this off. Otherwise, when the 'fake' album leaked, all those folks who heard it in advance would be online calling BS once they heard the leak. And they'd probably never give U2 the time of day again, after being fooled like that.

Or.. all those reviewers were in on it, and had agreed not to give up the secret until the official release. Which would never happen, as at least one person would be online talking about it.

Unless that's what this thread is, right? lol
