When this early promo pic came out I thought we might see these more on the tour, but I don't think we ever saw them appear again. I guess he liked the stars more.

Also missing my new 8025 732/87 (light grey lense).
Like you I wear many of them very often, specially the 9285, the 2138 (G37), the 1535 and, at the moment, the 8025...

Yeah I do like that design a lot. I think the bigger lenses (like his current star model) actually look better on his face though, particularly without the metal rim on the top. They seem to blend better, I don't know, I just always thought the narrower lenses looked a bit harsh on him. But yeah this one is a cool design!

My Bvlgari 8025 came today and right they were the light grey lense.

I ordered mine from United Shades, they said that they were back orderd for two weeks, but just as others have reported they were ready for shipping in 5 days. I love them, even though the sides look "chunky" they are much, much lighter than you would expect. I paid $189.00 with shipping a total of $202.00. There are sellers on eBay asking $300 so go with United Shades or Ottica while they can still get them.

is this the exact color gradient and model that Bono's been wearing? For which part of the tour? Leg 3 Europe, Aust, and Africa? So did we figure out that he changed colors since debuting them in europe '10?

I think it's been fairly established now that he's only wearing one black/gray model the 732/87s. Some of us thought that maybe he was wearing another similar pair, but once guys started getting them in person that was proven to be wrong.

are the 901/8G even available to public? Its not listed on unitedshades at least.

so what i gather from a couple of these last pages of thread is that we THOUGHT he was wearing the 901/8Gs, but now have deducted that onstage at least its actually the 732/87s?

The 901/8G are still available but not on unitedshades.
Bono wears 732/87 on stage since the leg 3 of the Tour. And he is wearing 971/8G during the Encore (red arms). The pic above is a pic where Bono is wearing 901/8G OFF STAGE... GVox is right.

Bono's been wearin the EA 9592's (stars on the temples) since 2009, and it looks like he's still wearing them offstage now in 2011. the pink (or salmon to us) are his most popular, and were the onstage in 2009 color. And i recall some interviews and promotional shots of him in the Brown. But which was more popular between the black (006) and gunmetal (R80) colors? i know they look almost identical, but has he worn these ones on stage at all back in 2009 or any off-stage pics people have?
