What. It's 800ish to Seattle. So, what, eleven hours?

Rose Bowl Show to be filmed for DVD + Webcast

There were ones from each city. They clearly showed a Phoenix and Vegas one at their respective shows.

GA Line Controversy @ RoseBowl-What happened?

Not to stir things up, but the line nazis are ridiculous, and that goes back to Elevation. Breaking the rules of the venue and making unofficial numbered places in line means *nothing*. Of course security is going to disregard some fan-made system. If you want to get in line, follow the rules...

October 25 - Rose Bowl, Los Angeles

Just got home, my favorite show out of Phoenix, Vegas and LA. Awesome.

    Is this tour frustrating you?

Not frustrated or disappointed in the least. The sense of entitlement on this forum is staggering. I'm happy they're touring. I'm happy I get three shows next week. I'm happy they're playing Streets and WOWY. I'm fucking e.c.s.t.a.t.i.c. that UF and UV are being played, more than I can...

Note to Joe O'Herlihy - Upper Deck sound worthless in high stadiums

A brilliant idea. Take a city with demand for 80,000 tickets and make 3500 available. They'll be nice and cheap, and Bono's voice will be superb after a 600 show leg. :|

    Tour DVD

The setlist has basically locked in place. I bet there's a taping soon.

    October 6th Atlanta Setlist Party!

Bono: "screw you guys, this show is for the nerd recluses on the internet that masturbate furiously to setlist changes"

    Your least favorite U2 song?

This should be good. What song can you truly not stand? New York

Would stadiums in the USA have worked with Vertigo?

Pretty similar to the indoor show, as odd as that sounds. I think because it wasn't outside worldwide the production was mostly a carryover from the arena leg preceding it.

Setlist varies Glad USA is second leg

It is nice to be seeing a fully warmed-up band and production after seeing the first ten Vertigo shows. The vertigo shows were good, but the band and the show improved and settled into a groove and were drastically better by the time I saw them on leg 2 in Europe. I'm looking forward to...

Setlist Party! East Rutherford 1, 9/23/09

yeah, a show, and they're getting it. the entitlement here is amazing. When Hawaii got moved, I dealt with it. The band doesn't owe me a damn thing.

Setlist Party! East Rutherford 1, 9/23/09

lol @ people who feel that U2 owes them something special for shifting the date.

    The Pride-WOWY-Still Havent Found-Streets-SBS Syndrome!

I saw 25 vertigo shows, and I enjoy the "warhorses" as much as the obscure songs. They define U2, and deserve to stay. If they ever drop streets, that's my last show.

North American Tour Changes in Set list??

I think the best indicator of what will change is what has changed in the past. I'd expect a couple new songs, but otherwise no major shakeups. They're pretty predictable.

Where The Streets Have No Name - How it was meant to be played

*opinion warning* Until U2 writes a song that works as well as Streets does live, it should have the whole setlist built around it. The band themselves admit it's the turning point in the show.

Barcelona I Setlist Party (and show discussion & thoughts) Part IV

I think the mistake that many of you are making is the assumption that U2 has much desire to cater to the "hardcore" fans that petulantly demand shows comprised almost entirely of obscure songs. Before I continue, I've seen a ton of shows and have my own list of rare songs that I'd love to hear...

SPOILERS - Rehearsals at Nou Camp Part TRES - SPOILERS

No, they don't count at all. If you enjoy your tapes so much perhaps you should stay home and keep bleating ignorance. There is no comparison whatsoever between the recorded shows and the actual event, so kindly fuck off on this matter. Thanks.

Let me get this straight... See it live first. jesus.

SPOILER - Rehearsals at Nou Camp Part II - SPOILER

I saw twenty-five vertigo shows, six of which were outside. All three Croke, two Paris and Honolulu. I also saw the first ten shows of the tour, along with nine on leg three. Not once did the house lights come on in the beginning of the song. Did YOU see any shows?
  22. L

SPOILER - Rehearsals at Nou Camp Part II - SPOILER

You don't know that. Streets lost a lot of its punch with the new intro.

SPOILER - Rehearsals at Nou Camp Part II - SPOILER

It's because the only live shows you have seen had the neutered africa version

    The CLAW - Part. 2

Have none of you seen the animation from months ago? The screen will be as shown, high up and of fixed size. The stage isn't going to rotate, it's quite clearly fixed in place.
