The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

as someone who has heard it at least three times, ALL will find what they are looking for on this album, the boys did us right!

I'm pretty floored by it after three listens. Usually U2 albums take a while to grow on me

Can someone confirm "Landlady" is kind of like "Mercy" if "Mercy" were written for Ali? Just feels like the same openness to me.

:((((((

Still, the positive impressions here are getting me pumped!

I can’t make a positive or negative opinion yet on this album! Way too soon, but I think it is an album you just have to listen a bunch of times! There are a few great tracks, for me, love is all we have left is the best and I was pleasantly surprised by 13! I’ll say this, it’s very modern and not an album I expected from a bunch of guys going on there 60’s. It sounds very different to me and Bono sounds young for sure. Some of the vocals are very 90’s Bono

Little Things outro and Landlady outro are the two best parts for me. Nicely balance each other.

Mate. That is the best u2 moment sine Achtung Baby. No question.

My wife doesn’t like U2, and during the build up in the car she was yelling “come on, Edge!!!”

Is the link to a real version, or FB rip?
 With you and your wife there!

I don't wanna get ahead of myself, but I think this could very easily end up being the best album since AB. Really loving what I have heard. Absolutely beautiful stuff on this album.

Summer of Love

Summer of Love has the sexiest and most hypnotic guitar work this side of John Frusciante.

What strikes me is that I really don't think there's a clunker in the bunch. On pretty much every U2 album there are at least 2-3 songs I'm just not into at all. Not this one. Maybe American Soul? Other than that, everything is good to great to classic.

The late album stuff is fantastic (Landlady, Blackout, Love is Bigger). Rare for a U2 album!

Indeed. I'd also say it's kind of comparable to ATYCLB in the way that it shifts between breezy and heavier moods.

This is what I was worried about most based on the stuff released so far, so this is great to hear.
