eXPERIENCE or iNNOCENCE presale group

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Sorry if this is asked and answered somewhere else, but anyone get a "You've Been Verified" email for the Citi presale yet?

I was wondering that too, I am not even sure if there will be an email or if the code will just magically appear. I haven't seen anything yet and neither has the other person I know who put in for one, although she said those usually come late in the evening.

Just got this email:

Due to extremely high demand to see U2, you are currently on the waitlist to receive an access code for the Citi U2 Presale powered by Verified Fan.

As a reminder, access to this presale is limited to Citi cardmembers. If you do not have a Citi card to complete your purchase, you will be unable to complete your purchase, even if you receive an access code.

I just got the Citi verification email. The wording implies I'll get a code: "Now that we’ve identified you’re not a bot or a scalper, you have been selected to receive an access code for the Citi U2 Presale."

Just got home from work... what a shitshow today was. Came out of it totally empty handed, as there was zero GA available. I'm glad I'm not the only one - it seems they hardly released any GA's for the Innocence group.

What's my best move if I want GA now? Wait for the general sale? I don't even know how the general sale is going to work. Can I use my Innocence code there? What a mess.

Head to u2.com and register for each show you want to buy for, on the general sale. The verified process applies to the public sale too. You'll get a code to participate.

I am still waiting for something from Citi, one way or another! It's the hardest part. I hear they don't even mention the city, guess you have to guess which city if you put in multiples.

EDIT: Nevermind, just checked my Promotions tab, it was there. I've been verified.

Got my code texted to me at 7:19 AM (about 2.5 hours prior). Logged in at 10 AM and had a hell of a time getting even one ticket for LA. Kept selecting tickets on the map only to be told another fan had beat me to the seat. Finally managed to get one $81 ticket in the bottom bowl 13 rows up right near the B-stage. They are listed as "obstructed" but I guess it's because I won't be able to see the long screen as I will be at the end of it (if the set up is similar to the 2015 Innocence Tour) which is not a huge deal. Well, just happy to be in the building and I will have a good view of the B-stage.

Got the same email about an hour ago. Hope it’s better than the Innocence sale.

I'm guessing no GA in Citi presale due to 4 ticket limit vs 2 for .com subs but wouldn't be completely surprised if they got offered up either.

They wont release many GA tickets because they want to shift the extortionately priced seats and VIP packs.
They simply don't make any money on GA .
Its all about the money now .

Perhaps the band asked for more new faces in GA and do
the new algorithms will provide that?

Just be careful because this presale is a mess. I got two tickets with my code on Tuesday, but MSG has a two ticket limit for presaleS — plural. So I got a Citi code today but can’t use it. And then for the general sale on Monday, they’re counting my two ticket as two of my four ticket limit for the first day of the general sale. Although I’m wondering if all of this is an MSG issue and if I had decided to get tickets in any other arena, it wouldn’t have been an issue.

So all that is to just say make sure you read the fine print.

Just got two Boston GAs in Citi presale, so they are available. Didn't ask for 4, don't need extras, and don't want to run the risk of ticket limits being different than currently posted.

I got 2 Boston GAs as well (didn't get 4 for the exact same reason as you, hibricc) but they are currently gone:

Sorry, no tickets match your search.

Anyone get GAs for New York or Newark? Seemed to be none available again from the start.

Grabbed 1 GA for Boston in Citi presale right away with no issues. Also took an obstructed loge but it was a good row. How was the view from the end near the B stage? Think I'm getting too old for GA

I pulled up 4 GA right away for Boston, couldn't buy because I didn't have a Citi card, I just wanted to see if the process would work if I had received a code from u2.com membership as well, and it worked.

Same here for Atlanta. Didn't want to push my luck with 4. Amazing I couldn't get anything with a Fan Club code but a credit card presale works.

No DC GAs with citi ($391 red zone was available). Got $76 seats just off the floor near b stage.

I did. I got one GA for Boston, then tried Newark. Tried for 2 GA's, kept being offered Loge seats, near B stage. Changed it to 1 GA, tried a few times and got one. Tried again for another, kept searching, changed my qty from 1 to 2, to get the system out of the cycle of showing me the same tickets over and over, then back to trying one, and one GA came up.
Very surprised at all of it, that GA's were even available. Three purchased in about 15 minutes.
They really screwed over the Innocence group by not having an allottment just for them, it seems, from what people have said.

Got 2 RedZone for Nashville with CitiPresale.

That is pretty lame that those were not available yesterday.
Waste of $40.

I remember in 2015 people remarking that the view from those end loges was great during the portion of the show when the band was on the B stage.

My thoughts after studying the seat map/prices Tuesday on best value for the money would rank GA as #1, the back halves of loge 15 and 20 as #2 (those sections have the back half priced at $106 and the front half at $325) and the end loges by the B stage once the price drops to $76 as 3rd best value in the building.

Scored a seat (intentionally) for Nassau and a GA for Nashville in today's Citi presale. Had decided it was GA or bust for Nashville since I was on the fence about going anyway, but I scored, so I guess I am going... :)
