I'm preemptively giving the cover 4/10.

I guess we need to open a new thread where we can rank it against other magazine covers from the last few years.

"A Showman"
Why not "The Showman"

I guess I can't say because I haven't heard the song, but this title change does not sit well with me.

Much More Better.... well, I did say, if this title made the cut, I am declaring Bono insane. Looks like I will have to now!

Just being skeptical of titles is all, don't get me wrong, I am excited

Why are you responding to this image as if it's official?

Yeah, fake cover... too many mistakes in the titles of the songs...

Get out ON your own way

Love is bigger than anything in IT'S way

A Showman

The LIGHT TO home

Could be worse you could be American and not have qualified :)

Yes indeed! That must be painful to our American friends! First time out since 1986! I am happy to see your team made it though! I love a good English-Argentine rivalry! Actually I have an English friend back in Ontario who we used to watch together both the Argentina and Englend games and we really picked on each other but it's always with good fun! I'm on the same boat as you though when it comes to hopes of winning! Next year it will not be as painful to me if my team doesn't win! I'm just greatful they made it in (barely) so I will just enjoy the fact that atleast I'll be able to see them in 2018 even if just for the first three games only.

If anything it's an excuse to go out with the lads to watch the games :)

Grammy's Greatest Stories - 60th Anniversary special - November 24th

Music’s biggest night is turning 60 and to celebrate this milestone, The Recording Academy will present a Grammys retrospective primetime special looking back on some of the award show’s most memorable moments.

“Grammys Greatest Stories: A 60th Anniversary Special,” which will air on November 24 from 9 – 11 p.m. on CBS, will take a behind-the-scenes look at the past 59 years of Grammys performances and history. Special segments will include reactions from Grammy producers and members of the music community following the tragic loss of Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin’s unexpected opera performance at the 40th Annual Grammy Awards, and Paul McCartney bringing the Beatles’ legendary album, “Abbey Road,” to the Grammy stage. The program will also feature archival footage, exclusive interviews, and special appearances from Grammy winners like Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Dave Grohl, Elton John, Bruno Mars, Chris Martin, Paul McCartney, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, U2, and Keith Urban.

“As we approach this milestone in Grammy history, we are excited to give music fans a glimpse into what artists, musicians, producers, set designers, and others do to make those unforgettable Grammy moments,” said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy. “This special will take audiences on a new journey as they relive those extraordinary moments that can only be seen on the Grammys.”

Would be nice for them to play and sneak in a new tune. But doubtful...

I remember the days when U2 and the Grammys were synonymous with one another.

Another thing GOYB ruined!!! Lol

Their Walk On performance opening the 2002 Grammies was epic. I mean, next level type shit. All four of them were on point and it was near flawless.

I dunno. Boots is a good live song. The only negatives about that performance was the guy liner Bono sported and no one in the audience having any clue what the new song was.

Yeah, it's a good live song. I'd probably prefer to hear it at a concert over Vertigo and Elevation, just for a change. They'll probably never touch anything from NLOTH again, tbh.

I put nothing into titles. For example, "Where the Streets Have No Name" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" sound like terrible titles. They are long and almost cliche. Yet, as we all know, they are two of U2's most popular songs.

I just want the music to be good and the lyrics to flow. They have some forced songs recently and I hope none of these are it (then again, there's always been at least one song on every album I really do not like).

The majority of my favorite u2 songs aren't singles and this is especially the case with their 2000s output. Even if the next single sucks it won't really affect my excitement for the album. There are always album cuts to look forward to, ridiculous names aside.

Only just beats out the most recent lead single to be released a band.

I think The Miracle is worse.

Boots is crap yes, but I still find it more fun to listen to than The Miracle Of Joey Ramone, which is even crapper.

YTBTAM shits all over both of them IMO.

The Miracle is lyrically cumbersome and the title is dreadful, but Boots and Best Thing both make me want to punch myself in the face for liking this band.

And that's exactly it LN7, yes.

Shouldn't it be Where the Streets Have No Names? Plural?

Just sayin'.
