This thread is cracking me up... I was there when Bono pulled that poor kid up on Sat. he was like a deer in the headlights and agree he should have given up and taken back to his parents.. it was painful to watch. However the Sunday night kid was absolutely awesome and even knew the words to the song...he was great! (and bonus points to that kid for wooing Bono into taking off his glasses! :drool:)
 
Oh and the Girl was great too on the B stage Sunday night! but she looked familiar..has she been on stage before too?
 
Maybe Bono is pulling up all the kids on stage because he's looking for his long lost son Leo.....

I still vow that if I ever get pulled up on stage*, I will dance a little hoe-down jig.





*never going to happen, because I don't truck with that 8-day GA line stuff needed to be on the rail.
 
I'm surprised some people can still move after +2 days in GA-line.
23 here and I know I would look like a bloody fossil. :uhoh:

Or Han Solo in Carbonite.
 
The only way I survived was because the forum was smart enough to let us leave and the line was super chill.

I'm gonna be 7 months pregnant in GA (yeah, got that positive sign after we bought those non-transferrable, no resell tix :homy:), but I'm hoping being a woman pregnant with a kid might get me up there :cute:……(who am I kidding, it would be a Miracle of Bono to get me up on the catwalk in that condition).

SO true. You're not a real fan, you know. If you ever DO decide to do this, please come up to Canada and ensure that you are on stage at least once for ALL of our cities. Canadians don't deserve to be up there, we LOVE it when the same guy from NYC gets up there all the time, so why not you?

But Bono apparently doesn't clue in that when the same frickin person is down in the same spot salivating up at him at EVERY SHOW, that is the definition of batshit crazy. However, we will continue to be put in our place as 'kinda' fans compared to people like that, I guess.
