No, not Nashville, sadly. God forbid I go anywhere nearby, lol! I was trying to get my neighbor to go to Baltimore, but then we realized we were out of money, oops!

We should get together, YES! I'll bring my U2 neighbor! I've only been to Bull McCabe's in Durham, is there a better one? Hey, did you do the whole U2 Conference in Durham in 2009? We went over there for that, met Neil McCormick, etc. Saw U23D over in Raleigh... and somewhere in there was the concert, where me and my neighbor got to meet Bono. :hyper: It was a FABULOUS weekend!

I've never been there. I only moved here in Dec. I've been lonely. :sad: I didn't go to the conference, but I'm looking forward to the next one! And you've met the almighty Bono?! I just got myself a Starbuck Red card for my Toronto trip!

Welcome to NC! I went to college over in Chapel Hill, so I kinda sorta know Durham. There are some really great restaurants over there. Good job on the Starbucks (RED) card... you'll need caffeine, I bet! Yep, finally met Bono... it took me 29 freaking YEARS, but it finally happened. I can die now. :lol:

So tomorrow at work we're having a Mad Hatter party. :lol: There's a contest and prizes for the best hats, etc. Since I'm on the judging committee, I can't really pick my own hat, but I'm excited to make it tonight. I'm totally making the Princess Beatrice monstrosity. :lol: I've got some pink construction paper, and I'll probably bend up an old hanger or something to help shape it. :giggle: Hopefully it won't be too difficult to copy, and that nobody else will have the same idea as me. :wink: It's not super original, but it will be fun to do.
 
I ended up buying a copy at Starbucks last night, knowing already that I would return the Amazon copy when it finally showed up, and request a shipping refund.

It showed up this afternoon, and I promptly went online to start the return process. They said shipping would be refunded, as it was their error.

Damn straight.
