I know your problem , he was like 3 foot away from me in at the hotel in Brussels being extremely patient ,
when this guy in front of me started shouting like a lunatic, and shoved his elbow in my face,
which made Edge turn around and walk the other way ! I got a blurry pic and a smile , so yeah , better luck next time.

I've made a few signs over time that have made The Edge smile and a few that he laughed at. Always fun when that happens.

The most "Pleban" (Dirty) signs I've seen have been the ones' that I've seen a few fans have written for Adam. One had the naked pic of Adam from AB and said "Unos, Dos, Tres... Catorce. NOW I get it!" (with an arrow pointing to Adam's well... you get the idea.

I'm pretty sure the band love the signs and love that the fans take the time to make and share them. Although, Larry not to fond of the SMILE LARRY signs. (Not recommended).

Well that Adam sign sure beats the "Hey Larry, bang me instead" sign someone was making in line next to me in Foxboro (although I still think that is so clever, LOL).

Smile Larry :lol: That's so not nice but still so funny :evil:
 
Oh God those signs you guys mentioned here are a bit unrespecting to the band.... the 'Smile Larry' one is funny, but I don't think he likes it that much....:|

Once I had made plans that if we get tickets to the Rome concert last year, I'd go in the square of the Vatican with a banner saying "BONO = SANTO SUBITO!"
('Santo Subito' = make him a Saint quickly)
But we didn't get tickets to Rome.. so I didn't do it.

But if I did, I think I would have gotten arrested. HAHAH :hyper::lol:
 
I'm pretty sure they heard more offensive things over the years.

It was awful brash...I would never have the guts or audacity to do such a thing. But it was funny.

I've never made a sign before...:hmm:

See, I thought that was a given. And at the end of MOS, someone needs to hop up, steal the glasses snap away. He'll have time to recover from that.

And I know what you mean about "home". I have lots of friends here and my job and all, and I used to think I'd NEVER want to live in SoCal (being a NorCal girl m'self) but I do see the appeal! :wink:

How I envy you! It was the same for me last year (and in 2009) when I was waiting for U2 summer gigs in Italy (and Croatia) .

...how I miss them :sad:
