Have you waited the 10 minutes that they give you. I noticed that the site remembers you those 10 minutes. I also put tickets in my cart, but the code would work again after waiting the 10 minutes.

thanks for the tip rosa. didn't work though.

Ended up ringing u2.com. I was using an old code (thought i might be). it actually let me try for 5-6 sets of tickets before it rejected me. i've been assured that it's ok to play around in the presale with my new code & it won't be rejected, so we'll see how that goes.

bingo.

and if they do, just threaten to go to one of the current affairs shows - that usually will scare any company into anything.

Having worked for a company that was threatened with such, I can attest that this is true.

i really feel a bit disappointed that i've let Danny buy me a ticket in the presale. it means i miss out on all the anxiety in getting tickets. i'll go general for the (hopefully) second show. and Brisbane.

I'd say you're better off without the grey hairs and ulcers, but general sale will be worse than presale for that!

Congrats!!!!! :woohoo:

So did everyone get the tix they wanted (lunch too short to read a gazillion pages of this thread)?

Yeah, I'm all good. I swear it's worth the $$ to u2.com to be able to do pre-sales this easily.

Helps to organise things with friends ahead of time to buy in diff cities at the same time too.

Nice one! *is too tightarse to get U2.com membership*

Still last time I got all the tix I wanted in ticket drops. Know someone who got a ticket to Melb I on the afternoon of the show.

How much are Red zone tickets going for (no useful info on the Ticketek site)?

4 tix to Melbourne GA...finally signed up to U2.com today...hopefully my nieces will want to come and a friend will be interested(she wasted the ticket I bought for Houston last year)(I q-ed up for hours and got sunburnt in the Texas heat-and met some girls who got to do the Red sign up and ended up on stage ffs). And got a ticket drop GA for Las Veges 2 days before the concert...
Want Red Zone for Perth though...if anyones got a code they don't wanna use :)
Btw here's a few photos from the concerts last year I went to-from inside the circle in houston and outside in LV(and the crowd except for one tall Texan) were fantastic.

Does anyone know...if they add a second show to anywhere, would it always be a date after the initial show that was on sale in that city, for instance 14th or 15th in Syd? Or do you think they might announce another Sydney show prior to the 13th? I would expect it be the 14th onwards, but wondering if anyone else knows differently from previous tours?

You're probably right, and it is a waste of money... I managed fine for Vertigo without presales, after all. But I'm a massive stress-head and this takes a lot of stress out of it (although you wouldn't have thought so with the way I've been carrying on since the weekend!).

Red Zone is $350, which seems like a hell of a lot of money to me. On the other hand, it saves a lot of stress in terms of queueing up as well, and it's for a good cause and all.
And on the other other hand, I'm looking at a lot of plane tickets and hotel costs that I wouldn't have if I'd been content to settle for the Melb show(s). :D

true. i shouldn't complain. i figure the demand for show 2 won't be as strong.

That's what I'm hoping, as I'll be getting tix for any second shows via public sale.

Buy a GA ticket and you can sit on the pavement with Tania and me for hours on end, develop haemorrhoids, sun burn, dehydration and have a fabulously good time.

Ooh, can I come too? :hyper:

Just a thought I had, but I reckon people might have more luck trading actual tickets than codes... It's up to the parties involved though of course.

So did we figure out: Is the Cedars pre-sale the same allocation of tix as the higher rated members or is it the same allocation?

I have a feeling it will be the 14th for Sydney. When I booked the hotel both the 13th and 14th were at higher event rates and the other dates around that were standard rates. Could be completely wrong, but that's how I'm reading it. Also, I recall someone on here mentioning they found out the dates a few days before they were announced and that the 14th was the likely 2nd show for Sydney.

Anyone purchase Sydney GA's today and wasn't able to get them posted? have to do venue pickup?

I had to go with the box office/venue pickup option too.
