PGP: Saluting Right Back at Bono

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
it's two discs, seems to be the whole thing. It's from u2-trade.com or so(never heard of).

OMg and the next disc in my bootleg collection is the US festival. I certainly remember eagerly waiting for that disc to arrive so I could gif it!

Oh, yeah. That one. :der:

I was trying to keep at least one show from each part of the tour (rather than having 3 shows, only 2 of which were watchable), but wasn't really thinking of the official releases.

I was thinking alternative options, for when I wanted to watch something that wasn't one of the real ones I'd already watched a million times.

Hm I have the audio boot from Arnhem(for obv reasons) and it's not half bad. Don't know any dvd bootlegs though, sorry. I don't have any from Elevation tour.

This. :|

OMG really. . Let me know if you want anything sending over from UK/bringing over next summer.:hug:

Sorry about huge disappearance again. Craig dropped something off for me and we ended up having a serious heart to heart as I was upset over something. ( Nothing he has done :lol: ).

Friends.

So did they play Bad?

Just bring your beautiful self over, lady! :hyper:

Friends  indeed

no Bad. I just would've been upset that I wasn't there if they wound up playing Bad. First show I saw they ended w/ Bad  x 1000000000

So did they play Bad?

Nope. :) It would have been awesome, but the setlist was still amazing without it.

God obviously isn't listening to me today.  I asked really nicely and everything!

I'm not in the mood to go out and do work stuff today, so I'm going to put it off until tomorrow. :giggle: :shh: Nobody will know the difference.

Ooh thanks, I didn't know. So I just asked Chelsea if she knew, and she said yeah but it's too depressing to see all the cool stuff she wants but can't have.

I know!! There were various things we wanted, we both said that maps/documents (specifically, I wanted Rousseau's maps  ) would be awesome to frame.

A 11 foot by 9 1/2 foot piece of the wreckage just went for $9000.

I've never had luck downloading video bootlegs. I saw Cori mention that sometimes it takes more than I day. I always figured it was just "stuck". Maybe I'm just not patient enough

Anyways, off on a mission for my UK girls!

I looked at the list a few weeks ago when it was posted, and drooled over everything. It would have been so awesome to get something, but I knew the prices would be outrageous and waaaay out of my affordability range.

It depends on your connection and the amount of seeders. I put the Hannover torrent on this afternoon and it's 55% now.

 Good call! I forgot my cord downstairs. Doubt the laptop would download a torrent on its battery!

Oh, sorry, I wasn't clear. I do have a bunch of DVD boots (and my audio collection is pretty darned thorough - I'm rather obsessive about it :reject: ).

From Elevation, I ended up keeping (other than the 2 official releases):

3/21/01 Miami - rehearsals (the quality isn't great, but I really like any sort of rehearsal or behind-the-scenes stuff)

3/26/01 Miami
8/21/01 London
10/10/01 South Bend
10/25/01 NYC
10/27/01 NYC

Ugh. I could stand to weed down that group even more.

I'm such a dork.

My kids just told me you can get squirrel baby.

I think the thing we covet the most is one of Locke's knives. I know we're weird.

From the European leg? One from Torino was just posted on U2torrents the other day. There are a TON of really great ones from the US leg.

Jem!! Hope everything's okay...?

DVD bootlegs usually take at least a day to download, even with a decent download speed. Audio boots usually take less than that, although it depends on a bunch of things.

Is it September 22nd yet :reject :

Not yet. :angry::lol:

I loved you for that. :heart :

I hate to be one of those people who are all "things were SO much better back when..." but yeah, last tour's SLPs were more fun.

This.

18 pages of Brownie pics. :crack:

Oh I also need to add the 100mikes feed randomly started ( you know like it does  ) when Craig was here and he was like WTF is that

I was like its U2 under water.:hyper::lol:

Craig: :scratch::huh::shrug::lol:

Do you have the Miami show, the final show of the tour? That one's AMAZING. Can't remember the date, but I can look it up for you if you want.

And I just went up to my room. Happysigh, I love my new poster on the door. The new 360 tour poster is beautiful. Shot taken during with or without you, with the top mirrorball shining and Bono in his laserjacket.

We were thinking things would go in the hundreds of dollars, but no, it's mostly been in the thousands.

omg

You can get just about anything!

Locke's knives, huh? :shifty:

The show itself was amazing, or the video boot was?

I weeded out a LOT of DVDs, so I don't remember what I had and got rid of. If I had the video, the quality must not have been great. I have the audio, though.

I have it noted as "good audience." Although that might mean it's better or worse than I think it is. I had a hard time lumping a lot of the shows into my assigned categories. Like, where do you draw the line between fair and good? Between good and very good?

oh my god, I'm so lame. I need a life.

The Amsterdam multicam project from 20-21/07/09 is really brilliant. :flirt::tempts: And it has Bad.

YES!

There seem to be a lot of really good quality 360 DVDs. I wish more of them had more shots of the claw, but I think the reason they're so good is because the taper is close to the stage, so ... yeah, not so much with the Claw from that angle.

I'm not surprised. :) Leave it to rabid fans to want a piece of Lost history so much that they drive the price up like crazy. :D

I'll just have to settle for buying the complete DVD set. Just a few more days!! I'm hoping that Costco or Best Buy will have it for a good price on Tuesday, otherwise I'll most likely have to wait a month or two to buy it.

Wow you're neat! I just have mine in one folder called Bootlegs, with a separate folder for every show, which always starts with the tour name. /pedantic
Haven't burned a dvd in years so I will have to get some new dvds. I tried to burn Amsterdam last year and it had to go on two separate discs because they were so shitty small. I need to buy new ones that are those dual layer thingies for Hannover, and I want to reburn Amsterdam on it as well.

The dvd, that's pretty much all I get is dvds, unless it's audio of an exceptional show. The quality is great, I always forget that it's a fan-made show, and the show itself is amazing, they were very playful and fun.
