Rose Bowl Show to be filmed for DVD + Webcast

Uh, Bono's voice was not bad on either the Boston or Chicago DVD or the SNL performance.

SNL was horrendous in terms of vocal quality. . . . .. . . . but I do think it compliments some of the new songs

I watched the SNL performance the night it aired.

Sounded fine to me...

From this point on, I wouldn't be suprised that the 24-song setlist is the goal with 2 shows until the Rose Bowl. Also, it now makes sense that Unknown Caller made it in last night. They could film 24 songs and leave room to cut 1 or 2 songs should they not come off well. Worst case, we end up with a Milan-like dvd with 8-9 songs only.

Here is to hoping that everything works out fantastic and we get something near the level of a Slane DVD is overall performance.

Will the concert be streamed then that's it, or will it stay up all as one. If so, I (along with others probably) will be able to rip it in the highest quality possible.

I hope they stream it in HD and leave it up so people can do this. I've been dying for the first Pro-Shot!

My only other concert DVD All American Rejects' Tournado.
(It was a great show, I'll lend you the DVD. Really it was.)

YouTube will be streaming live across five continents. The show will be available in the usual You Tube way, as video-on-demand, following two full replays - after the live stream - on both U2.com and You Tube.

will be kept on youtube for at least one more complete run through. U2.com will also stream it after it's be run live

I was born and raised in LA, and have always been ashamed of how poor the energy is at all LA shows. I hope we can change our image and really bring it on Sunday night.

during the vertigo tour........the show i went to was crazy. however, i agree that other shows have been more lackluster. that said...the rose bowl is huge. hope the band can reach those people way in the back

Who else thinks that Bonos voice is going to be hoarse and off that night? We are always unlucky with his voice on the dvds I realy hope that he is going to fix it this time. Better then on Boston dvd, Chicago dvd and the last SNL performece!

Would be great if he also could sing the whole first verse in MOS
