It looks damn good.

I'm craving fries and hash browns so much recently. I swear I've eaten more fries this semester than I have in my whole life!
I really am dying for some Arbys now. Thank God mom gets paid tomorrow.

I have permanent bruises on my knees from where I keep tripping over THE SAME pavement crack at uni, every day. And if by some chance I stay upright there, I'll fall up the stairs.
Buy some roller derby kneepads and wear them every day. I had so much fun learning to fall down on mine. It's scary the first time, because you're deliberately falling onto your knees on a hard floor, but you don't feel a thing (unless your ass lands on your skates behind you... they call that skate rape :giggle: ) It sounds scary too, 'cause the plates on the pads go THWACK when they hit the hard floor.

(Was the purpose of this post to blatantly brag about my new hobby? ...maybe  )

:hyper::hyper::hyper: I want to get rollerskates!

I was considering volunteering to do a Springsteen survivor. I really want to.

i was going to bring it up and ask you actually, i mean, you guys have ploughed through a ton of springsteen threads, and there's always people who have the classic albums but don't post, born to run/in the usa...

It's not wrong but it's weird. Expand your horizons boy!!

 i try! but i always come back to them.

Charlotte, hit the button two overfrom quote the one that says Quick reply to this message, then in the quick reply box, hit the radio next to Quote message in reply, and just write your message.

Chass, I really can't believe they got rid of the Banana pie shake :emo: (I screweed up and forgot to follow my own instructions)

Just let me know if anyone wants to get it started, and I'll gladly do it.

My only worry with rollerskating is that I may develop super muscley thighs. I have a tendency to get rippling muscles really easily. :yuck:
Oh but it would be so much fun to skate down to the shops. My new place has a biiiig fence that goes for maybe 100 metres so I can practice next to that. :hyper:

Love how just as this thing starts kicking along, the good old forum hiccup strikes. I told you not to jinx us, Danny!

So I just discovered this amazing British comedy show called The IT Crowd, which is a lot like Black Books in many ways, including being written by one of the blokes who worked on Black Books.

I've heard I'd like both of those shows.

If I get good enough (this is, actually be able to stay upright and move around the track!), this is the team I'm gonna be on:

YouTube - radioactive city roller girls

Music on the video sucks, best to mute it.

I'm almost more interested in the fashion of the whole thing than the actual sport. I love that all the girls wear skimpy skirts and fishnets and funky knee socks when they skate

Goodness, I procured the Anathema albums I didn't already have today, and I was not aware that deathgrowls were once a feature of their music!

Hah really? Yeah, for the early stuff they had a death growler - along with My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost, they founded the death doom genre (and all three bands subsequently have gone in totally different directions). The growler left after Serenades ... I love Danny Cavanagh's attempt to sort of growl on The Silent Enigma. It isn't too bad but I'm glad he didn't stick with it.
