So much for all my nerves that Boots would go to hell. That was just too easy to score Dublin II GAs. Breaking my vow to never give U2.com money again and buying that membership was so worth it.

Got my GA's for July 25th,very happy.
$50 well spent to avoid the lottery of Fri morning .It will be ridiculous.

Given there seems to be a fairly substantial quantity of GAs available in the presale, it'll be a fucking bloodbath for the remainder on Friday.

Yeah, I was thinking I'd regret giving the worst site on the internet money but they won some points today

I just got 4 GAs for Dublin on the saturday. I am so made up. kept pressing F5 at 3 o clock. cant believe how quickly it went though. Just booked flights from Liverpool for friday to sunday. Hope to get tickets for the friday gig in the general sale. hope for ga;s but will take seats. i cant wait. This is going to be some weekend. I assume everyone who is going to dublin is going to temple bar.

If you use the code for two GA's in Europe, you cannot then use the code in the U.S., for the other two correct?

the strange thing is that I can get tickets for Poland, Paris and London with the same code:huh:

So will I be able to buy tickets for new york then? it appears that ticketmaster and livenation are not linked so you will be able to buy it if you use"a different ticketprovider. if this sentence makes any sense.Or Am I just misinformed and did everyone allready know this

Well someone in another linked raised a good point. Perhaps they will reject your order afterwards when they look at your code while processing the tickets? Not sure whether I'd risk it.

I'm so glad this presale is going smoothly. It makes me so much less stressed about buying US tickets.

Good to hear you've all been having good luck. I'm going to use 2 for Vancouver, and save the other 2 for the next leg.

I'm most likely going to be going for seats, though, as my friend isn't so keen on doing GA, but we'll be discussing that again once the date/venue/setup is official.

I'm glad I ponied up the cash for this, as I don't want to have to deal with the stress of trying to buy during the general sale. Sounds like it will be worthwhile.

Boots Member here--bought 2 GAs for Friday and Saturday July shows in Dublin. And I just logged on 4 hours later and GAs are still up for grabs so BOOTS members that havn't got their tickets yet, don't stress, you're seats WILL be available. But if you're not a member of U2.com I would highly recommend joining. It's worth 50 bucks for the comfort of knowing you'll get the ticket you want and it won't be Overly priced.

95 USD a piece for the GAs, not bad. I've never seen U2 live, I've never been to Ireland so this is going to be something else. :applaud:

oh, Any Americans going to go to Dublin and staying in a Hostel? If so, communicate you're plans here if there's a good Hostel I should know about.

Concerning multiple ticket purchase with single code I bought tickets for both nights in Dublin with the same code and seems it worked fine. got individual receits for both tickets, but I'm hearing some talk about the code only supposed to be working for one individual show. and some other people talking about buying tickets for one showing and waiting for general sale for the other night. But I did both at once, (I want to see U2 back to back) if anyone can clear up what's really going on, that would be good.

wojovox, Technically you violated the Terms and Conditions of the pre-sale and they can technically cancel both your tickets and your membership without recourse. You were only allowed to buy up to 4 tickets to ONE show in EUROPE. That's it...

HOWEVER, will they do that probably not. Probably since both shows are through ticketmaster.ie, you were able to go up to the 4 ticket limit. If you beat the system, then good for you. I wish they would have said that earlier than, since a lot of people have to trade tickets to go to 1 & 2...

I'm trying to help a friend of mine to get tickets for Paris. She has a boots code (as do I) but everytime we click the presale link in the u2.com email, we both get the same thing...a page with the message "Cette manifestation est fermée à la vente sur le Web" on it.

It's been that way for about 4 hours now but I know some others on here have posted that they've got tickets in that time. I haven't been constantly hitting refresh or anything so I just wondered if the tickets were intermittently being made available (and it is a case of constantly hitting f5) or if people were using another link to get to the tickets?

Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

I doubt that they are allowed to do that actually. They never said that this was not allowed they said it was not possible which is completely something different

Q - How Many Tickets Can I buy?
A - As a paid-up U2.com Subscriber you are eligible to purchase up to FOUR tickets for any ONE show in Europe in a single transaction OR up to FOUR tickets (in total) against up to four shows in North America. (This is because ticketing vending arrangements are different on the two continents. The code can be used ONCE only against up to four tickets at any one show in Europe. The code can be used up to four (4) times against up to a total of four (4) tickets at up to four (4) shows in North America. eg two tickets at one show, two tickets at another or one ticket to one show and three to another.)

Prohibited Purchases & Sales. We reserve the right to block access to or cancel a ticket order of any user that we believe, in our sole and absolute discretion: (i) is or is associated with any ticket broker or scalper, (ii) is utilizing automated means to process or place ticket orders, or (iii) whose ticket order exceeds the stated limit.

Ticket Limitations. When purchasing tickets, you may be limited to a specified number of tickets for each event (also known as a "ticket limit"). This ticket limit is set at our sole discretion and the quantity is verified with every transaction. The ticket limits can vary by event and/or membership. Cancelled and postponed events will, at our sole discretion, be rescheduled or refunded. Event dates, times, venues and subject matter, which are listed on the ticket, are subject to change. It is up to you to verify the most recent changes. Tickets may be substituted with comparable or better seat locations. Actual seat and row numbers may vary from those purchased on the Site. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a "comparable" or "better" ticket for substitution purposes.

FAN CLUB MEMBERSHIP. Sometimes Fan Club membership (see Fan Club Section, below) is a requirement to purchase certain tickets or ticket packages. IF WE DETERMINE THAT AN INDIVIDUAL HAS JOINED (OR ATTEMPTED TO JOIN) MORE THAN ONCE, OR IF WE RECEIVE MULTIPLE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS FROM A SINGLE AND/OR CLUSTER OF E-MAIL ADDRESSES VERIFIED TO SINGLE USER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ALL APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIPS, AND THE RIGHTS AND BENEFITS AFFORDED THEREBY, AND MAY INVALIDATE ANY CONCERT TICKETS PURCHASED UNDER THE APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP(S).
