And I must say I'm jealous of the thought of ice cold Europe! But I'm the kind of guy who'd follow winter around the world if I were in a position to do so.

I actually did this for a couple of years when I was studying - I would leave Europe in the summer to come back to Brazil (even though we don't have much of a winter here). But this winter has been particularly cold and the weather has been crap in Geneva...

You live in one of my favorite spots on the planet!

That's a wishful location, not an actual one. I'd give my left foot to actually live in Berkeley. I'm a bit of a Green Day fan, if you hadn't noticed :shifty:

Serena.

Haha, sounds nice. Though based on what I know of Brazil, I'm guessing its "winters" are much like those in Queensland, where I lived for nine years, and could pass for spring and maybe even summer in other parts of the world. I always tell people Queensland has four seasons: Summer, After Summer, Slightly Cooler Than Summer, and Nearly Summer Again.

As for simultaneous Survivor rounds, I'd be running Boy, October, and War at once, then the same for the three other sets of three albums. Just made a post about it in the current Survivor thread to get some input.

Sorry, I didn't get the Green Day reference . I would probably give a thumb or two to live there as well (I need my two feet, though).

Hey Axver.

How are you?

If the bitching over the last couple of pages didn't give it away, I'm a bit hot right now.

Well, at least it justifies buying more ice cream than I'd normally consider reasonable for somebody living on a tight budget.

Yourself?

We basically have two seasons in the central plateau: Summer with rain, Summer without rain. Maybe that's why Brazilians and Australians (and perhaps New Zealanders) tend to get along well.

That sounds good. I'm looking forward to it. Can you involuntarily forget to add One to the AB poll?

Ok, so I accidentally got it cut a TAD too short and this is not the way it's meant to look anyways, but it's raining outside, so I just did a quick brush of it. Instead of getting highlights I got myself good shampoo for my hair, because, I've needed to do that for a long time, so I'm gonna go take a shower in a minute and we'll see what my hair looks after that, but, since I know you're all dying to see:

East Bay forever. I'd live anywhere there, tbh. Berkeley, Oakland, Pinole, Humboldt, Emeryville, Mendocino...I'm making myself drool over here.

Haha! Yeah, that sounds much like Queensland really. For about six months of the year, non-stop sunshine. The other six months, sunshine broken by tropical storm deluges. The contrast between Melbourne and Queensland has been quite striking for me. In the entire time I've lived in Melbourne, our wettest day had 36mm of rain; in contrast, my mother still lives in Queensland and just got 88mm of rain in a couple of hours.

And no need to involuntarily forget One - I'm actually automatically disqualifying One and Streets from the tournament.

Guys, how long is too long to wonder about a neighbour who hasn't shown up? I'm going to go give his dog a few chicken wings to see how hungry she is. If she wolfs them down then I'm going to contemplate calling the police. He hasn't shown for like 4-5 days or something.
Recently in a house about a mile away, this couple hadn't been seen for days. Finally the neighbour called the cops, and the couple was found dead in their beds, both with a single gun shot wound. It was ruled as a murder-suicide.

Haha, yeah, it did. I still want to trade. We are under a winter storm warning with the threat of power outages due to freezing rain. It's below freezing and is going to stay that way until Sunday. Fuck ice cream, I want some hot chocolate. Though Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream IS awfully good no matter what the weather.

Not too bad other than the obvious: cold.

I'm almost booking tickets to San Francisco... I haven't really visited much of East Bay, so that's a good reason to go back.

As if I needed one.

That's impressive. I assume it's even worse in the Northern Territories?

I have to admit I like living in places with this variety of micro-climates!

I second that decision.
It will be hard picking a winner from TUF. All other albums (except Pop, perhaps) have more evident picks for me. Well, I guess this shows the cohesiveness of the album.
