Actually, at times their vocalist reminds me of Frank Black. That's the dude from the Pixies' name right?

Well, one of his names. ;)

Electric Feel and I think Weekend Wars are played a lot here. I like the former a lot more.

Black Francis is another, isn't it?

I've never heard them before about 20 minutes ago. My lady's sister loves them, though, apparently.

Oh I'm just taking the piss.

But the only cartoons I've ever taken an active interest in watching are the Simpsons and Futurama.

Chuck Jones once said that The Simpsons may as well have been a radio show, what with dialogue meaning so much more than visual gags in it, so I don't really consider it to be a 'cartoon', to be pedantic. More like an animated sitcom. I'm inclined to agree with ol' Chuck for the most part, but then again, he probably never saw my sig.

I'm thinking a Looney Tunes thread might liven up Zoo Station a bit.

Open it to all 30s/40s cartoons (and maybe some 50s) and I'm there.

Bonnie. I feel really f'd up now having watched Swing You Sinners. Dear God. And the way it just ENDS.

I'm not into prog, I've discovered. Axver would disown me if he knew what I figured out about myself last week.

Drunken cats partying at 3 am. Felix was a NAUGHTY boy. Professing his love to a lamp post. And then it turns into a Dragon. Dear Lord. From about 3:45 on it becomes aparant that Felix was obviously on Acid as well. Also he's a proponent for Drunk Driving. Suddenly I'm in love with Felix the Cat Some of the drawings in that seemed so modern. That was strange, I liked it.

Oh and the literal representation of this: :madwife:

Seeya, Traviud. I might make a cartoon thread if you're not up to it.

Glad you liked it, Ashley.

Make one, or I'll make one, then I'll show you a Silly Symphony you must see. I tracked it down after watching Swing you Sinners cause I was reminded of it while watching it.

You can make one if you really want to, I noticed that Porky in Egypt isn't online, so I might try uploading it to post in there.
