Yeah, yeah, but come on man, surely Bike is good for a laugh. And Interstellar Overdrive is one hell of an instrumental.

The Barrett tracks I like:

Astronomy Domine
Lucifer Sam
Remember A Day
See Emily Play

And then there are a bunch of obscurities I like, such as It Would Be So Nice, Apples And Oranges, Arnold Layne, etc. But I would never voluntarily listen to an entire album.

Huh, I figured you wouldn't take issue with Interstellar Overdrive, since it doesn't have "dated, poorly-written nursery rhymes". What don't you like about it?

Too long, too much aimless noodling. It's forgettable.

You could use the above sentence to describe almost every song on Ummagumma as well.

I like all of Piper At The Gates of Dawn. It's hard to explain, but it always puts a smile on my face.

I actually disagree with you on interstellar overdrive mel :(. How could this happen to us?

I'm listening to Interstellar Overdrive again. And honestly, I think maybe I just wanted to like it the first couple times I heard it :hmm:

:shh: don't tell, I was keeping that a secret from Ax. :uhoh:

There are two kinds of Pink Floyd fans: those who are horrified by Piper, and those who are horrified by those who are horrified by Piper.

I'm beginning to think I'm not actually a Pink Floyd fan at all. I think it's just the emotional connection I have with The Wall that keeps me hanging on.

That's nothing...I'm listening to Rush.

Fuck yeah, this is so much better than U2! Listen to that elf guy shred!

I've lost my love for the Floyd, I think. Late 2006 - Late 2007 I loved them. Saw Roger Waters Live listened to him and them a lot in 2007, but I can't say I've bothered much, apart from Animals and Dark Side, recently.

It's a fact that U2 have sold out and Rush haven't. Let's just not mention Power Windows or anything like that.
