Oh, Jesus, I would have died on the spot.

I was once at a library conference and one of the vendors had a guy who was a reptile expert...you could book him to appear at a kids program or some such thing. Anyway, he was holding a tarantula and people were all crowded around him...I nearly had a panic attack as I was trying to get the heck out of there as fast as I could!!!

I feel your pain.
