This is seriously annoying, and I don't know how to fix it. It's like I'm back in the days of dial-up.
My wireless at home will work fine for weeks and weeks. No problems, no disconnections. But then suddenly, it will start disconnecting and reconnecting constantly, like, every few minutes or so. I can tell, because there's this icon that pops up in my toolbar (that's what the thing on the bottom right of the screen is, right?) that tells me it's disconnected or reconnected. Sometimes these icons pop up and I think the disconnection - reconnection is happening so fast that if it weren't for the icons, I wouldn't even know it's happening. Other times though, I can tell, it slows my internet down considerably, and I have to wait ages for a page to load, or, I have to stop a page that's attempting to load, and restart it again.
I unplug my router for 10 seconds, and sometimes that helps it get back to normal for maybe 5 minutes, but then it starts all over again. The thing is, I know that if I wait it out, in a few days it'll stop doing it and things will go back to normal, but then in another month or so it'll start again for a few days.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
