Barring a horse riding pedophile running for office on the Democratic ticket... it's as important as ever that all anti Trump voters town out in force in 2018 to vote out Republicans.

If that means a moderate, or even a never Trump republican needs to vote for a socialist, well then you better god damn vote for a socialist.

We can work out our issues with reasonable people. What is in power now, and all who support this power, must go.

Absolutely. This swings both ways. I would happily vote for a Latina socialist just as I would Joe Manchin. Why? Because there is literally no other way to resist other by putting more D’s on the board. Let the socialists win in NYC and Berkeley and let the NRA D’s win in WVa, because together they could have put Merrick Garland on SCOTUS and the world would be a better place today.

No, but then the Dems do everything in their power to prevent much of the left from succeeding. If you look at the quotes in the lead up to this primary, it seems the only reason Ocasio-Cortez didn't face that sort of resistance is because they were completely blindsided. National Dems were saying as recently as a week ago that thought Crowley would win easily.

They did try some late game strategies though! Crowley's people were taking Ocasio's campaign signs and moving them to places they aren't supposed to be in order to get her campaign in trouble.

The Democrats fucked around with Garland to "prove" that the Republicans were unreasonable and now we're going to end up with Garland and whoever the fuck is next that's even worse.

None of this is new. This has always been the right. But centrists and liberals gave them the benefit of the doubt for so long that they no longer need to cloak it or wait. They can do everything all at once now.

Everyone acted like the left were reactionaries and crazies, but we've been correct all along.

2016 wasn’t the election to take some stand, not with what Trump stood for. Thinking our system of checks and balances would stop, or that he’d pivot to the center....

The Dems better fight this nomination.

Nothing gets done until Mueller has released his findings

Will he appoint Sessions?

2 birds :: 1 stone

Y'all are fucked.

Unfortunately the rest of us have to live on the same planet and reap the consequences as well.

It's not Kennedy's fault, the man is old and it's his prerogative, but for God's sake he couldn't hold on for a while longer? They'll be prying RBG's dead cold hands off that court before she lets Trump replace her.

The number of voters who were completely checked out of the political system or disenfranchised by the voter suppression tactics of the right vastly outnumber the ones who "took a stand." Third party voters aren't the problem.

And what is going to jolt these “checked out” people out of apathy? Are they still going to be apathetic in the fall and stay home? What else needs to happen?
