Serious words from a trump supporter today.....

"Everything good that Comey said about Trump he was telling the truth. Everything negative he said About trump is a lie".

Yes these people exist, and there are plenty of them!

And then there are people like Paul Ryan.......

No wonder we are in such a fucked up mess...

Some confirmed what Trump said, the rest was lies. In other words trust this man who is swearing on oath when he paints me in a good light, the rest is just lies.

There is no fact. Science is myth. Logic is dead.

Everything that paints Trump as good is truth. Anything that paints him in less than a Jesus hue is fake.

This is how fucking scary it is. Honestly, I know it's completely anti-constitution(but so is this presidency), but if solid proof does surface and Trump resigns or is impeached, I would completely support a banning of Trump's voters right to vote for 8 years. You shouldn't be allowed to vote for such a heavy decision if you are so easily swayed by TRUE fake news and/ or hatred.

^^^^ I would add that Trump voters should be restricted from driving and/ or operating machinery.

There should be a reverse travel-ban, they should not be permitted to leave 'merica, this would mostly be symbolic, with Gorsuch on the Court it would be struck down.
Also, they should be heavily vetted before being permitted to visit blue states.

https://us.yahoo.com/finance/news/go...210438486.html

If Obama did the things Donny is doing the GOP would send out a firing squad!

Utterly utterly disgusting! Nothing will ever happy to orange boy as long as the GOP has majority! Only hope is the midterms but not even sure the democrats could get a majority! What a pile of

Are they really that scared of his base? They can accomplish the same shit under Pence. Hell, they may even strengthen their base by showing some balls and removing this man.

The only thing I don't see Pence doing the same as Trump from day one is the travel ban. Everything else is spot on

And how wouldn't his lawyers be aware of this? Or how wouldn't they be able to stop him?

No doubt trump would run head first into testifying without thinking of every angle.

His lawyers....

But then his lawyer doesn't know how to spell

I was watching Erin Burnett on CNN, and she had one panel that including a young Trump campaign worker (don't remember the exact position), who said not only said that Comey is a liar, but that he is trying to destroy Trump and get him impeached. Nevermind that Comey has had a good reputation in DC for many years as an honest person.

Unbelievable. I really would like to know what terrifies these people. What are they so afraid of? Do they hate liberalism/progressiveness that much? If so, why? What's so bad about it? My theory is that these people grew up during the Cold War, or have parents who remember the Cold War and the fear of communism spreading, and how communism was the enemy. And socialism is akin to communism in their eyes (when it isn't), and liberalism is another word for socialism, and so on...

I don't know. That's my theory. I get that from listening to my family members through the years, and maybe there's an element of truth to it.

You'd think if communism was a worry somewhere in the back of people's minds, they'd be somewhat worried by all the Russia allegations.

Personally I think it's much simpler and mostly the old my team vs your team mentality and pretty much only reading headlines or listening to Fox soundbites. I had a chat with a trumpster in my family and he said that he's going to support him as long as he's doing well. I asked what he's actually done well so far. His reply, and I quote, 'Unemployment is the lowest ever, 100s of thousands of jobs have been created, big business are staying here, even Apple is investing over 1 billion dollars for a company here in America. That's just a few.'

I mean you simply cannot reason with the clueless.

Oh, that's so sad. Any way to lure some young people who'd be interested in small, medium independent farming? This has happened in the USA. Or has the surrounding lands been too developed?

I was in a small village (a paid for vacation) last Sept in Switzerland. There were miles and miles of lovely farmland, and vineyards.
And when we (paid for) to Paris by eurorail got see eastern France's farmlands as well.

I'm a city gal, but I appreciate farmers, and ranchers. Studied organic gardening back in the 80's on my own.

But over the decades I learned the differences and have respect for democratic socialism.

I've been at an anti-Trump/pro-LGBT protest all morning.

Liberals are just better at spelling.

Perhaps, but it could explain why many thought Obama was a communist, and he was going to create a Brown Shirt army to become a dictator. The election of Trump was a backlash against Obama. The hatred for all things progressive/liberal is so astonishing, that I could only think that it is linked, somehow, to the Red Scare and the Cold War.

As for Russia today, some conservatives admire Russia and Putin. They see him as a tough guy, and not "weak" like Obama. They also like Russia for its anti-gay stance. Pat Buchanan certainly does, seeing it as the most Christian nation because of its homophobia.

It's funny they admire Putin for being tough and authoritarian and called Obama weak. If Obama did half the things Putin did the right wing would have rightly called him a dictator.

They love calling Obama a fascist, too. Which is weird.
