It would look good to have Zooropa after Numb and then follow it with Some Days and Trying To Throw but I feel that after the eight first songs the set needed a rest so I let Zooropa end the first part of the set and had Some Days and Trying To Throw at that point to add a more light feel to the show.

I feel like there still should be a cover there somewhere on the acoustic part of the show and Satellite of Love still fits well there. I always wished they had used the Thanksgiving Prayer at the beginning of Streets, it was a great move to have it there like they did in that Zoo special. Daddy's Gonna Pay is a great encore opener imo.

I really debated swapping out Love Is Blindness with Acrobat. I really think Acrobat would be an outstanding closer, while I know Love Is Blindness is an outstanding closer, so I settled for Acrobat closing the main set. Kind of keeps the Zoo theme alive too, after all the nostalgia of the late main set.

And again, I think Zooropa would be an excellent replacement for Daddy's Gonna Pay... almost identical in the way it's done....flashy, glitzy, very MacPhisto.

the only thing I can think right now is that THIS should've been the end for ALL the ZooTV shows...

the end should've been bombastic, almos UTEOTW and THE FLY combined, TV all over the place going on and on and on and finally the "don't let the bastards grind you down" going like a fucking bomb was dropped on the show, flashes, TV, pandemonioum... and finally, all the TVs go to "snow"... and in the end, they turn off...




don't let the bastards grind you down... a message for the audience, about life and about TV
