I have a video interview with U2 and Bono mention that U2 wrote a song about their girl from Copenhagen which is Helena Christensen. Do anybody know which song he is talking about ?

So U2 like to write songs about their model friends

Now there must be somebody out there who knows something about this.

Theory is this about a man who probably doesn't get out much and is fascinated with this beautiful girl on TV. More likely it is linked to the models people the band began to associate themselves with during Adam Clayton's relationship with Naomi Campbell. Bono questioned his result of their fame wondering whether or embrace it or be ashamed of it. It seemed natural. So of course, he wrote about it.

This could be about any of their new model friend but with a twist. Expanding on the ZOOTV idea of the media turning the consumers into voyeurs, Bono portrays a man with a remote control, slowing down images, playing with the contrast, believing he is knows the image on the screen. Being in power.

it may not be directly about her, but the song has always been linked to her

Its about people that go fanatical over celebrities they see on TV like they know them, the entire concept of Babyface is a brilliant thing and thats why I always thought it was an under rated gem.
