It's apples and oranges for me.
I love Mr. Teh Edge and his Edge-like godliness, but he has the "catchy riff, occasional long solo, textural" thing going on.
Mike's a badass, pure and simple, I love the solos on Even Flow and Alive, and judging from the live recordings I've heard...goddamn.

I would say technically McCready is a better guitarist, but he hasn't really created a unique sound like the Edge has...
