I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but because the next tour is not far off, I was wondering what all the different ways of recording a show are?

Please explain costs etc. too if you can. :D

With all the info, hopefully every show will be recorded!
 
Beat me to it ... I was going to ask a similar thing myself. Though I think the All I Want Is U2 forum might've been better to ask this in. I don't know.
 
DAT's are pretty expensive, my advice to you os to get an MD, I'll have to check what model mine is I think Sony MZ-707 or something like that. As far as mics go I tend to like cardroid microphones. I dont' have nay clue what the model of my mic is I'll ahve to check.

have you recorded a show before?
if so i have a question where did you mount your mics?
