Radio Station Mentioning New U2 Album

One of my local radio stations was talking about upcoming releases for the next few months. One of the ones the DJ mentioned was "the highly anticipated new U2 single rumored for mid-October and the follow-up to the multi-winning grammy album All That You Can't Leave Behind, scheduled for a mid to late November release." Obviously this isn't word for word, but I paraphrased what I could remember.

The whole segment was about 2-3 minutes and U2 got about 10 seconds near the end. But it was cool to hear it!!!

What radio station was it and do you remember the name of the DJ?

Well, there isn't anything official or anything that we didn't know already in this...but at least U2 are getting some recognition now.

I. Need. New. U2!

"Mediocrity is never so dangerous as when it is dressed up as sincerity." - Søren Kierkegaard

Ian McCulloch the U2 fan:
"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."
