This is such a hoax. Most emails that end with "Please pass this on to as many people as possible." are.

There is so much light pollution in The United States, you couldn't tell if everyone lit a bonfire in their front yards at the same time, much less a candle.

Take a look at a nighttime pic of the U.S if you don't belive me.

light a candle. They will be taking a satellite picture of the US and
