the u2 bit sounds good the rest ....pffffffffffffft.....

can i get the u2 bit without the rest and without the guilt of not saving Dafur... :hmm:

I don't know, I got the R.E.M. song when they released it as a single...I'm hoping so, I have a free song in iTunes that I'd like to use.

Hopefully the Flaming Lips cover sounds great too

I'm interested in at least U2, REM and Green Day from this CD! Green Day's version of Working Class Hero is freaking awesome!

yeah. maybe when i have a better quality mp3 (though Justin24 did an awesome job ripping it) i'll like it better. but it just seems ok to me. nothing special. kind of along the lines of their "Paint It Black" cover. it's good, but nothing to completely go bonkers about.

It sounds good, but the live version is better. Do you think U2 insisted they perform this song if they were to be on the CD?

I dunno. I don't know why Green Day felt the need to turn Working Class Hero into a power ballad.

I like the cover the Flaming Lips do though.
