The problem was that myself and a friend of mine lost our money in a pub up here and therefore couldn't afford the train down

So I played One, All I Want Is You and Desire outside a train station in Belfast instead

It sounds ridiculous and yes it was..............

I'm now waiting for my next chance to do such a thing, although there's no point in the lads rushing it

Just saw this now

You and I met waaaay back in April 01 in Calgary - was very brief, you were there with a Canadian woman.

That's right! I knew it was someone who had a long interferencer name, I just couldn't remember exactly who. We met in line first, and then I think briefly after the concert was over (something about having to come all the way from Oklahoma just for that ), right? That was a great show - my first U2 gig, too!

Heh...it's all coming back to me now...

Which reminds me, I need to give my Canadian friend a call, haven't talked to her in ages...
