Ocean's Twelve

Has anybody seen it yet?

I thought it was very interesting right up to the part where Tess acts like she's Julia Roberts. How bad was that?

I thought the dialogs were very clever and all the characters are really so cool, for lack of a better term, that it makes the movie enjoyable. What did you think?

Generally movie sequels are not very good, but Oceans Twelve was very entertaining.

I actually thought the whole Tess as Julia Roberts things was pretty funny.

My dad appeared in Ocean's 11. He was an extra in the one scene where George Clooney is walking through one of the casinos in the beginnng (Wow, I wish I could be more specific than that, haha, sorry) but he's dealing roulette on the side of the frame. You can see his arm and his face if you're looking for him. It's pretty fast, but it's there. His good friend Loui, though, has a great full frame scene, when Bearnie Mac is giving him a not faking sick or whatever (sorry again...having stached the movie in a while)...but he's the short Italian guy sitting behind the desk filling out some papers for Bernie. That's near the beginning of the movie too. He's pretty easy to spot. He's wearing a spiffy suit too!

oceans 11 is one of my favorite movies ever. so it's unfair to compare 12 to such perfection... but i really liked 12 and i think it can hold up on its own if you don't compare it to 11.

I like both movies ... I laughed a lot with the "she looks like Julia Roberts" part ...

I thought it kind of sucked. Loved the first one but this was so nonsensical that I could not enjoy it. Whenever they completely ignored the plot and were just joking around with each other, it was pretty amusing. Unfortunately, those moments were surrounded by too much crap.

Matt Damon trying to talk in code and reciting the lyrics to Kashmir was great though.

i liked ocean's twelve. i can't say i liked it better or less than ocean's eleven, though. they're different movies. the first one was so slick, and this one isn't. plus, there's a lot different in this movie. danny no longer needed to win tess back, etc. i will say i thought it was an interesting movie and i should probably see it again. i don't remember how many times i saw ocean's eleven in the theaters but i've probably seen it at least 300 times since i bought it on dvd. love that movie.

Like my clothes in my washing machine, bits and pieces everywhere.

Yes, it was a distorted movie, loved the players, but the story………….

sorry to bump up such an old thread, but i only saw this movie yesterday here at the theatre dubbed over in French. Now, my French is ok, but the dialogue was fast enough and complicated enough that I missed a few things. Most importantly, I never "got" what Catherine Zeta-Jones' character had to do with the scheme, ie. was she in on it after all or a straight "cop"?

The movie as a whole I found fun, but not as good as the first. I did however love all the European settings and found myself doing a "I've been there! I remember that place!" thing more than once.
