WAZ
Mine To Remember Ep
What a perfect plan; step away from a long and successful stint as Pete Yorn's lead guitar slinger, head in the studio with famed producer R. Walt Vincent (Pete Yorn) and emerge with an infectious pop-rock collection surely to furthur an already successful career. The first cut, "Nothing Lasts Forever" injects a hard driving drumbeat and guitar reminicient of early 80's Replacements. Waz doesn't seem to buy into this new wave of 80's influenced songwriting, but one can't help notice his timeless songwriting skills. Waz packs this EP with solid songs of lost love, summer lust and dreamy landscapes with an underlying rock and roll flavor. One of L.A.'s newest best kept secret.
