^yeah, it's wrong. on Rattle & Hum, Edge plays a barred C on the 3rd fret, and a barred F on the 8th fret. on ZooTV, Edge plays them like this:

^it's the way you play it, i means your index finger presses all 6 strings down on that fret then the other three fingers can make the chord

on some tabs i seen some they say "hammer down" i'm guessing that mean strum really hard?

is there a guitar glossary anywhere??

it means if for example it says 3h5 it means you pick the 3 then with another finger hit the 5 without picking again
