RK : Layers are the best way to go. My rule is three layers, not including jackets when it goes below zero. Usually a t-shirt as a base layer, then a long sleeved shirt and then say a pullover with a high neck. You'll be fine

I went to university in Minnesota where it's really cold... it's just such a shock when you aren't used to it.
