Computer virus?

I was looking in my Task Manager under Processes and saw that I have something running called lsass.exe. Is this that sasser worm that was going round awhile ago? If it is, how do I get rid of it?

no! It's not, DONT stop the process or delete the file! I don't remember exactly what it does, but it's a normal process that should be running and NOT the sasser worm.

yeah, lsass.bat is the actual virus, not the .exe file. i remember back when it was in its full force some people thought it was the .exe file and really fucked up their comps.
