I just tried downloading an image of the pic that's my avatar onto my Tripod site. It looks awful.......all "pixeled" out. I want to start a site that has my artwork on it, but I'm not sure it's possible given that I have limited $$ to spend on a hosting service. Does anyone else have a site with good visuals on it?

are you trying to enlarge the picture from your avatar to your website? if the image is small and you try to make it a lot bigger it will look bad. you would need to start from a bigger image. or if you have the actual photo you used rescan it larger.
