Ok, maybe someone can clear this up for me...

It seemed that being in the U2.com GA line was kinda stupid and pointless--for a couple reasons:

1. The regular GA line was let in at exactly the same time
2. They never checked for U2.com membership--so anybody could have been in that line

I thought that U2.com membership somehow improved your chances of being able to get into the ellipse--but that wasn't the case at all. Was I wrong to think that?

So, my point is--why even have a U2.com line at all? Am I missing something?

they def. botched things in DC ... they didn't make it clear at all what was necessary to be in the u2.com line (fan club tickets or membership in the fan club). Secondly, both lines got in just as fast. Seemed as though the fanclub members were screwed because there was more of them than regular GA ticket holders. At most other venues being in the u2.com line helped, it prob hurt being in the line in DC.
