email preferences?

Every time someone replies to a thread I started or continued, I get an email message. I dont want these email alerts cos I post many times a day. How do I change the options for that, so that I dont get email when somebody replies?

In the User Control Panel (User CP), go under "Edit Options". For "Which thread notification method?", select your desired choice (most opt for "Do not automatically subscribe").
