This was not a concert.

This was a religious experience.

This was "elevation" in a spiritual sense.

Not one thing was wrong about this evening. Bono's voice was spot on, the band was tight, it was unreal.

Fantastic.

it was so fucking good i can't even begin to describe it.

seriously.

my 9th concert, and the best.

i can die now.

This show rocked.

Who's Gonna Ride as an acoustic? That was soooo freakin' cool!!!

I nearly soiled myself when I heard the opening riff to OOC- again awesome!!

And then finishing up with Bad?!?!!

The boys hit it out of the park last night.

One of the best concerts I've seen.

Way to go boys!!!!! Now off to Pittsburgh!!

It seems that it was a very short concert, isn´t it ?

no, it was a solid 2hrs 20min. "bad" was, like, 10 minutes long, he talked a lot, lots of extended versions of the songs.

Fantastic.

It was a beautiful night!

I swear I felt the MCI Center move last night! And I don't think I've ever heard the applause after Streets go on for so long. I am SOOOOO glad my best friend decided to get married this weekend, putting me in the MD/DC area and that my awesomely wonderful husband was able to find me a last minute ticket. :D

And damn, Edge looked like a rock star during Electric Co, didn't he!

he was flawless, and while he's twice the musician, he's now becoming almost as charismatic as our man Bono.

i nearly passed out when they started playing "out of control."

that was the song that first convinced me of the incontrovertable "awesomeness" of U2 -- i never thought i'd actually get to hear it live.

They're playing more gigs in the same city -- I suspect they enjoy changing it up as much for themselves as for the audience -- while in Europe, it was 1 gig per city, and there's a certain core of songs everyone expects played. Don't take it personal-like...

Now we're talking!!!!
Out Of Control!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and a bunch of strange new snippets.
Can't wait for Montreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
