The Beer Is Sweating

its too hot today. even the beer is sweating. drip drip drip, the water rolls down the dark brown bottle, making a ring on my shorts. i am bored. i peel the label back. the glue is dissolving, leaving the bottle and my hands sticky. as i take a sip, the mouth of the bottle bottle cools me, and i feel the liquid run down my neck. relief. only for a minute. no sooner has it gone down than it warms up. temporary relief. maybe if i drink enough of these, i wont be able to feel the heat.

Im sitting here late, its 11.20pm on a Thursday night, autumn has well adn truly begun. My tootsies are freezing as I try and keep out the chill in my white fluffy dressing gown, yet...

you just made me really thirsty and feel like i need to switch a fan on.

I'm asleep in the sun, passed out from the heat, beside my pool..

or at least I was five minutes ago before my pup went for a swim and shook herself off all over me

it is hot!!
