Adam Clayton and DR Strings?

It shows Adam Clayton as a user of DR strings. Is this currently true? Or has he switched to a different brand?

Adam's used DR nickel 'Sunbeams' (45 - 105) for awhile. I haven't seen anything that suggest that he's changed brands/models.

That said, with the number of gear changes -- new bass guitars and amps -- being used on for NLOTH and the U2:360 tour, it is possible that he's looked into using other strings.

There has not been any features on Adam in Bass Player Magazine, that might show any updates or differences in strings used, since the January 2006 feature article. Hopefully there will be an updated feature once the tour resumes or by the time of the U.S. dates.

Here is a link to the Jan 2006 article:
BASS PLAYER - Jan 2006

The Adam Clayton Signature Reverso (Made in Germany) states that it comes with Warwick EMP strings .045”-.105”

The new Warwick Adam Clayton Reverso - Artist Series (Made In Korea) states that those two versions (Honey sunburst quilted maple / Metallic Gold) come with Warwick Red Label strings: .045 - .105.

But that is probably as it's a Warwick Bass. It's possible that Adam is still using DR Strings.
